Welcome! I’m Jean Mills, the author of five novels for young adult readers, including Skating Over Thin Ice (Red Deer Press, May 2018), three books for middle-grade ESL learners, and numerous short stories for younger readers. I’m also a professional writer/editor and a former college Communications teacher. Words are my thing!
I’m a member of The Writers’ Union of Canada (TWUC), the Canadian Society for Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers (CANSCAIP) and the Canadian Children’s Book Centre (CCBC).
